Nicole Kidman, Australian actress was riding in a stunt car crushed early Thursday while shooting her latest film “The Invasion.” Police reported that she and 8 others suffered minor injuries and were brought to Los Angeles hospital for examination.

While conducting the scene in 300 block of West 6th Street, surrounded by camera the incident occurred, said LAPD Paul Vernon.

Kidman, at 39 and Oscar-award winner is doing a role of a psychiatrist in this science fiction movie “The Invasion.” Kidman’s publicist, Catherine Olim said, on the scene that she was trying to escape a zombie-like characters when the incident occurred.

Warner Bros., producer of the film said that the production will continue and they were expecting that Kidman will return as soon as possible.
