You can use Challan Identification number (CIN) in the challan status enquiry facility which is provided at Tax identification TIN website to verify whether challan number available with you has been uploaded to TIN, if the uploaded data is not your PAN then you may take the issue to Assessing officer for rectification of PAN number.
