Reliance Communications, the Indian mobile operator, has launched a new tariff plan for its GSM prepaid subscribers. The tariff which costs Rs 45 per month enables subscribers to make calls anywhere in India for just Rs 0.50.

Reliance Industries Ltd., owner of the world’s largest refining complex, plans to acquire the remaining shares of unit Reliance Petroleum Ltd., after the stock dropped 54 percent in the past year.
