Akshata Murthy, daughter of Infosys chief mentor Narayana Murthy, would tie the nuptial knot with her long-time boy friend Rishi Sunak on August 29 in Bangalore.

Akshata Murthy, Infosys co-founder and chief mentor N R Narayana Murthy and Infosys Foundation chairperson Sudha Murthy’s first-born,is all set to tie the knot. The lucky guy to have won her heart is an Indian classmate of hers from Stanford Business School. The wedding is expected to take place in Bangalore in August.

Infosys mentor Narayan Murthy's daughter Akshata Murthy has tied nuptial knot wit classmate of Stanford business school.Earlier, relatives and friends congregated at a prominent city hotel to attend the wedding reception of Akshata.

It was in Pune that I met Narayana Murthy through my friend Prasanna who is now the Wipro chief, who was also training in Telco(TataMotors). Most of the books that Prasanna lent me had Murty's name on them which meant that I had a preconceived image of the man.

Infosys Technologies chairman and chief mentor N.R. Narayana Murthy Tuesday called upon Indian scientists to focus more on research and innovation to catch up with their counterparts in the developed countries.Murthy said while announcing the setting up of the Infosys Science Foundation to promote advanced research in science and technology.The foundation will award five top Indian scientists Rs.5 million each every year in recognition of their outstanding research contributions and achievements across various sciences.

Satyam Computer Services has appointed AS Murthy as the new CEO of the beleaguered IT company. Murthy is an old timer at satyam and is currently the Global Business Head of the company.

India’s second-largest software exporter Infosys Technologies aims to increase its revenues from platform-based back-office solutions from around 2-3% to almost 10% over the next three years, as it seeks to grow revenues without hiring more professionals.
