After gathering much appreciation and Oscars following the success of Slumdog Millionaire, director Danny Boyle is set to return to Mumbai for another film, it has emerged.

Awards are showering for the Oscar winning movie Slumdog Millionaire. Now, Danny Boyle is awarded with the prestigious Civic Award from his hometown.

Once under fire for not doing enough for its impoverished Indian child stars , the makers of "Slumdog Millionaire" said Wednesday they had bought a flat for one of them whose Mumbai shanty home had been demolished.

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan felicitated Oscar winner Resul Pookutty of the 'Slumdog Millionaire' fame here last evening. The function was organised by Western India Motion Picture and TV Soundngineers Association. Pookutty, who hails from Kerala's Kollam district, shared the Sound Mixing Oscar with Ian Tapp and Richard Pryke for his work in the Danny Boyle's film "Slumdog Millionaire".
