Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan and filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma promoted their forthcoming movie Rann in New Delhi. Rann meaning battle in English is an attempt by Varma to expose Indian media. Apart from Amitabh Bachchan, this movie features well known actors of Bollywood like Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala and Rajat Kapoor. Also in the star cast are Riteish Deshmukh, Purab Kohli and Gul Panag.

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma decided to celebrate superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday in style. As a gift to the Big B, Varma launched the theatrical trailer of their upcoming film Rann.

Here's a first dekko at RGV's drama, Rann. The film that stars Amitabh Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh and Gul Panag has the tagline 'Truth is Terrible'.

Even though RGV has released the first look of the film, it was Bachchan who had put up pictures of himself on his blog while shooting for the film. Rann revolves around the media war between news channels to get the news first and goes behind the scenes in exposing how its done.
