American Idol finalist Adam Lambert once again brought the house down and the audience to its feet with his high-wire performance of Wild Cherry's "Play That Funky Music", leaving the crowd in awe. Lambert soared with the song, thanks to a special vocal arrangement that highlighted his thrilling octaves.The judges were all positive in their feedback, if a bit less efusive than during the last performance episode. Paula remarked, quite passionately, that he was pure genius and compared him to Mick Jagger and Steven Tyler.
