Rajasthan State Haj Committee, on Tuesday announced the names of applicants who will go to Saudi Arabia to perform Haj this year. The committee had organized lottery based on districts at the Haj House to select the fixed quota of 4,265 Haj pilgrims on the basis of Muslim population in the state. The Haj committee had received more then 18,000 applications from all over the state.

The has been placed into a State of Emergency following the large amount of snow that has fallen in the area. This is the 3rd time that a Major Winter Storm has occurred this year in Delaware. The Roads have very low visibility due to large amount of snow which is creating a high risk for accidents. Meanwhile roofs and trees are covered with snow, leading to the State of Delaware to call on for a State of Emergency. It is the worst snow the region has faced since 1979 . The National Weather Serviced Department has recorded that there may be as much as 13 inches of snow.
