Capgemini, a France-based consulting, technology and outsourcing solutions company, has reportedly given pink slips to 600 employees, including 400 from Hyderabad and 200 from its Pune facility, in the last few weeks.A senior official with knowledge of the development confirmed the move. Most of the laid off employees were serving global customers in the banking and financial services space, the official said on condition of anonymity.
