The Capital sizzled at 43.5 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, breaking a 50-year-old record for the hottest day in the month of April.The weatherman said the city experienced the hottest day of April after a gap of 50 years. It is after half a century that the mercury has touched 43.5 degrees in April. But as the heat wave conditions are expected to continue for a few more days, there is a likelihood of the temperature rising further, he added.
