Google is today celebrating the 205th birthday of Hans Christian Andersen with a very special doodle that changes 5 different times when you click it before it takes you to the results page. H. C. Andersen, as he is referred to nowadays, was a Danish author most known for his children stories such as “The Steadfast Tin Soldier,” “The Snow Queen,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Thumbelina,” “The Little Match Girl,” and “The Ugly Duckling.” H. C. Andersen was born 205 years ago today on April 2, 1805 in Odense, Denmark. He passed away on August 4, 1875.
