Chaitra Navratri begins today. The most popular Hindu festival begins in the month of Chaitra according to Hindu calendar, as the name suggests. The festival is dedicated to Goddess Shakti starts this year from March 16 and ends on March 24. Hindus worship Goddess Shakti and her three forms namely Goddess Lakshmi, Saraswati and Durga and the festival is really popular in whole of North India.
