The Madurai bench of Madras High Court today directed the Tiruchendur Senthil Andavar (Murugan) temple devasthanam to repair the damage caused to the main deity, as per the Kumaratantiram Karana Bagam Jironodharana (repair) chapter, before kumbhabishekam.

The enormous temple complex is dedicated to Shiva, known here as Sundareshvara and his consort Parvati or Meenakshi.
