Hyundai Motor India today launched it's premium small car, the 'i20,' following the success of i10 in the Indian market.

Commenting on the launch, HMIL Managing Director, H S Lheem said:

The electric version of popular Hyundai i10, has finally made its debut in Indian market on Wednesday at Auto Expo 2010.The launch of new Hyundai i10 electric has been made in the presence of Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is also a brand ambassador of Hyundai Motors India.

Hyundai Motor's Accent joins the Santro with the launch of an LPG variant in India.Hyundai today said it had launched the Accent eco, its LPG bi-fuel variant, priced Rs34,900 higher than the existing petrol model.

India's largest passenger car exporter and second largest passenger car manufacturer, Hyundai Motor India Ltd said that it has crossed the mark of 25 lakh units of cars in production from its Sriperumbedur (Tamil Nadu) based manufacturing plant.
