Andhra Pradesh Assembly was adjourned for the day on Tuesday after Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) demanded a discussion on the Telangana statehood issue and created a ruckus in the House.

Congress’ Telangana leaders, who were left playing minor parts in the K Chandrasekhar Rao dominated-drama unleashed by the Centre’s December 9 statehood decision, are belatedly attempting to rewrite the script in the second part of the Telangana show.

An all-party meeting called by the Centre to discuss statehood for Telangana ended without taking any decision on the issue.Union Home Minister P Chidambaram, who chaired the meeting, went to meet the Prime Minister and apprise him of the outcome soon after the meeting ended on Tuesday afternoon in New Delhi.
