At least 15 people were killed when a black-clad attacker stormed into a high school in near Stuttgart on Wednesday morning and opened fire and then fled to another town where the police fatally shot him.
German news reports and a police spokesman described the attacker as a 17-year-old who was known to the police and might have been a student at the school.

A thick layer of smoke engulfed Haryana's Gurgaon town on the outskirts of the capital Wednesday following a fire that broke out in a factory.Fire brigade officials said no one was injured in the blaze that began at Huji company, which makes desert coolers for Bajaj Electronics, at around 8.30 a.m. in Udyog Vihar Phase II.

The fire that broke out early this morning at the Clarksburg Inn has been extinguished, but it destroyed the historic restaurant, state police said.No one was injured in the fire, which was reported at 5:37 a.m.

A wildfire continues to burn out of control near the town of Bonny Doon located in the Santa Cruz mountains about 70 miles south of San Francisco.
