Thousand of runners took place in the 28th Annual Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon. According to sources, the number of runners took part in the 26.2 mile run were 3617. These athletes came from 21 countries to participate in the race. In the Twin Cities Marathon, 31% runner belongs to the U.S. and for the first time, represent each state of the United States.

Kumar Taurani’s film PRINCE - ITS SHOWTIME, which was earlier slated to release in the second week of December, is now scheduled for release in January 2010. The exact date will be announced shortly.

Marine Corps Marathon 2009 -Registrations are open for the Marine Corps Marathon along with the Army 10 Miler.Both Marathons are limited to just 30,000 competitors. Spots go out quick and usually sell out overnight. The Marine Corps Marathons run offers both a 10K and a Marathon. There is also a Healthy Kids Fun Run where kids ages 6 to 13 can participate. The Marine Corp’s Marathon 2009 will be on October 25.

Four years ago I spend a short vacation in Kiawah Island. It is a wonderful island near Charleston, SC. However, I never knew Kiaway Island had a marathon. Now, this morning Kiawah Island Marathon started registration for the 32th annual Kiawah Island Golf Resort marathon, which will run on December 12th, 2009.

On Saturday, a man collapsed while he was running the Baltimore marathon and died later on. According to the authorities, the 23-year-old man was running among the thousands of other runners in the Baltimore marathon.
