Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India Limited planning to launch new iconic sports bike Honda Tourer VFR1200F model in India by the end of this year. This is very god news for the sports bike lovers that new sports bike is coming to India this year by Honda Bikes. "Honda's Indian arm will be launching the model in a CBU format and will be pricier than its existing imported bikes like Fireblade, etc," company sources said.

Suzuki has launched its 150cc bike Suzuki GS150R in India. The bike expected to be available in showrooms during the first half of next year will fight for Suzuki along with other models Zeus and Heat. While the other two models are 125 cc entry level bikes , the new one GS150 R is 150 cc powered stylish sporty model.

Small car major Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) will compete with big car makers, such as Honda and Toyota, when it launches the sports luxury car Kizashi in India in 2010.

Bajaj has promised to launch bikes in India in regular intervals. And the company is trying to keep its promise by launching new bikes in India and relaunching new models on existing one. This time Bajaj Auto has launched New Bajaj Platina 125 in India. Although, it has a bike in this name. But the new bike has been loaded with new graphics and technology.

Maruti Suzuki India(MSI)is planning to introduce a new Van reserve to Maruti Versa(MUV) within this fiscal, Maruti Versa production has been stopped.

Bajaj automobiles alliance's with Austrian motorcycle manufacturer, KTM Sport motorcycle AG have something very new for Indian bike lovers. The alliance intends to introduce its first KTM 125cc engine bike by this July. KTM 125cc bike has already been showcased in auto event 'EICMA Show' in Milan, Italy last year. The bike was not brought to Delhi Auto Expo 2010. However KTM's superbikes, KTM Super Duke and Duke 690MM, were showcased at there. The company's expected to launch its KTM bikes in India, which will be smiler to that displayed at the EICMA Show in Milan, Italy.

Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch Maruti Cervo for price Rs. 1.5 lac to Rs. 2.5 lac in India. The launch period of Maruti Cervo will be near May 2010 which is peak season for auto sales in India. Initially petrol engine variant of Maruti Cervo wil be launched. The pricing of Maruti Cervo is targeted for middle income groups in India espcially the first time buyers of cars in India. Maruti Suzuki Cervo in India will compete with Tata Nano and other small cars from domestic and foreign players.

TVS Motor is planning to enter into 200cc bikes in India. Currently, the two-wheeler company has upto 180cc bikes in its portfolio. It has TVS Apache RTR 160 and TVS Apache RTR 180cc.
