Today is world water day. The overall goal of this year’s campaign is to raise the profile of water quality at the political level. UN-Water has chosen “Clean Water for a Healthy World” as the theme for this year’s celebration.The Minister of Water Resources, Works and Housing, Mr. Alban Bagbin has promised the Ghanaian public that he will solve the country’s water problems in 100 days. This statement has drawn a lot of reaction from the public over whether it is merely wishful thinking on the minister’s part, or whether the minister could achieve this target with a feasible plan for implementation.
