India has advised its citizens against travel to Pakistan, citing security reasons, the home (interior) ministry said on Tuesday

A day after the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) plot to attack key installations and schools was revealed by the FBI, more chilly details are emerging on Thursday about the terror plan directed at India.

Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Wednesday accused India of sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan, saying Delhi itself would be responsible for any terrorist attack if carried out in future on its soil.

India Monday issued a travel advisory on swine flu, asking Indians to restrict travel to the United States, Mexico, Canada, New Zealand and France, reported local newspaper Times of India electronic edition on Monday. The advisory was issued after the Union Health Ministry held a high-level meeting here with experts from National Institute of Communicable Diseases and Indian Council of Medical Research, to work out preliminary containment measures if the virus is reported in Asia, said the report.

A team of Indian intelligence officials left the US disappointed after a week-long stay in Washington as they could not question American national David Coleman Headley, arrested by the FBI on charges of plotting a major terror attack in India at the behest of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT).
