MRI(magnetic resonance imaging) make use of radio waves and strong magnets to create an image and this is useful in knowing lung cancer that spread the brain or spinal cord. PET is the positron Emission Tomography scan that uses low radio active sugar to trace the cells and when injected into veins. It gives the information whether the spot is on your chest x-ray is cancer or not.
