Bacterial ear infections generally begins with a cold or infection in the upper respiratory tract which causes obstruction in eustachian tube. This tube connects the ear to the throat, bacteria gets multiply and establish an infection, bacterial ear infections are generally not spread from person to person, it begin with respiratory infection and are spread through inhalation of aerosolized droplets.
