An official source said that one man was killed in an encounter in Tripoli by the opposing Western-backed government and the Hizbullah-led parties. 36 were killed in another encounter, and worst were the civilians who fled to avoid being caught in the cross file between opposing factions.

The Government ruling majority announced that there will be no negotiations to be done with Hizbullah through gun. While the Jumblatt and Hizbullah are pointing with other on their recent gunfire encounter. Most of the schools and business establishments were still closed.

If this misunderstanding will continue into a longer period the most affected will be the innocent people especially the children who might be at the state of chock at the moment. Do these people really wanted things to happen?

Why do you think in this world, if there are misunderstanding, not only in Lebanon but to other countries as well, parties end up to arm struggle to express some of their ideology?

Lebanon is one of the oil producing countries in the middle east, this will be a big loss not only for the Lebanese themselves, but whole world as a whole.

North Korea vs. South Korea

12

April

Due to malicious speeches, written policies and political interests North Korea and South Korea have again reach another deadlock that might ignite into another chapter of World History. The short-range missiles are an indications for these countries that they are ready to engage in war again.

Due to self and political interests South Korea and North Korea separated for long years and just been reunited a couple years back. Because of the dispute, families and relatives and friends were separated for a long time. The pending war will not only separate these people again, but to displace them into another catastrophic phenomenon. Every Korean knows this for sure.

In the previous reunions of families, both South and North Korea displayed immeasurable love for the human race, this event had made another mark in the World History of bringing peace to the people, not for Koreans themselves, but to the whole world.

Today, the human race wanted peace and we can only achieve this by having such communications in consideration to both interests. Until no one is giving up such for the sake of the other, not only North Korea and South Korea, but all the nations will never achieve peace.

Rice Shortage in a Harvest Season

April

rice.jpg

Rice shortage is being experience today even it is harvesting season in some other places. China, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam as major rice exporters have controlled their rice exports to sustain their country’s needs of rice.

Rice is one of the people’s staple food. Such a news about rice shortage is alarming especially in the lower and middle classes of societies where rice is the primary food on their tables and don’t have the capacity to support a month stock.

It is obvious that most of the agricultural land where rice is being planted or an arable land that could be converted into rice plantation were transformed into industrial facilities. During the past decades, though there had been news also about rice shortage, the rice shortage today is far chaotic. This is because the population have doubled or even tripled and lands suppose to be used in planting rice were converted into industrial facilities, recreation areas like golf courses and others were transformed into subdivisions and other housing projects.

The population is rapidly growing and arable lands continue to lessen. What do we expect? Rice shortage is only the first problem to appear at this time. There are other problems that may arise in which a result of these rice plantations being taken for granted.

Microsoft Proposes $44.6 Billion to Yahoo

03

April

Can you imagine how much this $44.billion worth of money? This was the amount Microsoft Corporation offers to Yahoo.com.

The offer was dated last February of 2008. If you still did not know it, Microsoft Corp. wanted to buy Yahoo search engine. You may want to read the statement of Microsoft over this issue. Click here to read further about the stand of Microsoft over Yahoo.

Microsoft’s MSN.com, Yahoo, Google and Alexa are giant search engines where every webmaster are trying to dominate. In fact, if a website appears on top of these search engines or let say, your web is on top in one of these search engines, your website is already gaining something that could possibly support all your payables.

On this issue, though there are lots of search engines arising on the net today, these four engines are still the best for a website to appear. If Microsoft and Yahoo will be one, it means that our websites will only appear on the three search engines. It means that instead of four organic traffic sources, it is now three. This will surely affects all the small and medium internet entrepreneurs worldwide.

This Microsoft proposal will benefit Microsoft alone because they will have now wider and broader community to publish all their advertisers - a favorable option for advertisers to patronize Microsoft.

Thanks to Yahoo they perceive the proposal irrelevant up to this minute.
