Commissioner Bud Selig has heard the grumblings and read the negative media coverage, but frankly, he doesn’t understand the criticism being aimed at the World Baseball Classic.“I think it’s been remarkable,” Selig said last night. “The TV ratings have been spectacular, and the crowds are running pretty good. Everybody in baseball has said, ‘We need to do more internationally.’ Well, this is our foray into that, and I think it’s been remarkable.”
