Jordan Schafer (born September 4, 1986 in Hammond, Indiana) is a Major League Baseball center fielder for the Atlanta Braves. He is the Braves third best prospect according to Baseball America. Schafer was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the third round of the 2005 Major League Baseball Draft. In April of 2008 he was suspended 50 games by Major League Baseball after being accused of HGH use. However, he never tested positive for HGH, nor was he proven to have purchased HGH.
