In order to resolve the incompatibility problem with HP Smart Web Printing and Internet Explorer 8, you have to disable this add-on by following the steps mentioned below:
1. Close all the Internet Explorer Windows.
2. Open new Internet Explorer window, where you will see the message "HP Smart Web Printing add-on can cause Internet Explorer to crash or to stop responding".
3. Click on Always open Internet Explorer without this add-on. Now, Internet Explorer will work without any problems.
