You can fix incompatibility problems between Internet Explorer 8 and the Google Toolbar by two methods.
Method 1: In order to resolve this issue, you should update the latest version of Google Toolbar by visiting Google Toolbar site.

Method 2: Disable the Google Tool bar by following the steps mentioned below:
1. Close all the Internet Explorer windows.
2. Open the new Internet Explorer window, where you will find the dialog informing you that the ‘Google Toolbar' add-on can cause Internet Explorer to crash or to stop responding.
3. Click Always open Internet Explorer without this add-on.
