1. Click on Start and open the Run command.
2. Type regedit in the text box and hit enter.
3. Navigate to the following location by clicking on '+' symbol next to each folder.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\VolumeCaches.
4. Click on old compressed old files registry entry, then right click and press delete button to delete the entry.
