American heavy metal band Metallica has launched a new iPhone application to allow fans to listen to its live show recordings on the move.

Recently, an iPhone application called Crackulous has been developed in hopes of allowing iPhone users to "crack" applications. "Cracking" an application is the process by which someone obtains an application illegally (i.e. downloads etc. rather than purchases) and is able to then use it on their iPhone or computer.

Adobe has introduced Photoshop.com Mobile as an application for Apple's iPhone. It enables users to view, edit and apply effects to images via gesture-based editing.
