Microsoft Proposes $44.6 Billion to Yahoo

03

April

Can you imagine how much this $44.billion worth of money? This was the amount Microsoft Corporation offers to Yahoo.com.

The offer was dated last February of 2008. If you still did not know it, Microsoft Corp. wanted to buy Yahoo search engine. You may want to read the statement of Microsoft over this issue. Click here to read further about the stand of Microsoft over Yahoo.

Microsoft’s MSN.com, Yahoo, Google and Alexa are giant search engines where every webmaster are trying to dominate. In fact, if a website appears on top of these search engines or let say, your web is on top in one of these search engines, your website is already gaining something that could possibly support all your payables.

On this issue, though there are lots of search engines arising on the net today, these four engines are still the best for a website to appear. If Microsoft and Yahoo will be one, it means that our websites will only appear on the three search engines. It means that instead of four organic traffic sources, it is now three. This will surely affects all the small and medium internet entrepreneurs worldwide.

This Microsoft proposal will benefit Microsoft alone because they will have now wider and broader community to publish all their advertisers - a favorable option for advertisers to patronize Microsoft.

Thanks to Yahoo they perceive the proposal irrelevant up to this minute.

Economic Estability

January

A nation’s stability lies on its economic status and the economic status lies on the factors where prime business and state controlled and owned business transact business with. The rich countries remains to be rich and the third world countries remain to be at the bottom. Furthermore, these developing countries could no longer go along with the developed countries. Why? Most of the materials being used by the third world countries are a residue from the develop countries, this is one of the reason why developing countries continue to be in the developing stage.

In the world of computers is an obvious example, Canada today has a 10 mbps internet connection while in the Philippines has only a regular internet connection of 384 kbps. Some of the companies in the Philippines uses a faster internet connection ranging from 3 mbps, a very big difference from Canada.

China is another example, not all the people have the chance to have an internet connection; likewise, more of them don’t know or don’t even see the virtual community. Of course, the government of any country has something to do with its constituents education and development.  We could not tell, but no one among any of the leaders like that his followers be left behind.  That’s why they continue to create programs that (as they say it) would enhance the potential of their members, a long term and short term plans.

However, there are still possibilities that these third world countries would survive.  One of the factors to be considered is to educate the constituents about the real economic standing of a country, showing data about a 5 million people having gained a permanent job on an 85 million total number of individual is not a big deal.  It is not justifiable that a help was extended or a development occurred.

The focus of an individual having a hard time bridging the gap of its financial capability would be on the short term.  To ease immediately the first problem so as continue to another  step.   Thus depriving him to a greater opportunity that would lift him/her somehow from poverty.

A country with a wide poverty problem would have a less chance to be develop.
