Aamir Khan’s father and writer-director-producer Tahir Hussain passes away early this morning due to cardiac arrest at Aamir Khan’s Bandra residence in Mumbai. He is survived with his wife, two sons and two daughters. When Hussain breathed his last, Aamir and his wife Kiran Rao was in Los Angeles. They are flying back for the funeral to be held tomorrow evening.

3 Idiots has passed the cinegoer’s test with flying colours. The Aamir Khan starrer raked in Rs 12.5 crore on Friday. Experts estimate the movie to net Rs 40 crore over the first weekend from the box office, with gross collections of Rs 65 crore.
