Sena’s Shraddha Jadhav trounced Congress nominee Presila Kadam by a comfortable margin. In the Sena-BJP ruled Brihanumbai Municipal Corporation, Congress had promised “a miracle” in the mayoral poll. BJP’s Shailaja Girkar was elected deputy mayor.
