Hundreds of people from across the globe gathered in Chicago on Thursday to spread the word about children's rights in Uganda, Africa.The Rescue of Joseph Kony's Child Soldiers event hosted by Invisible Children was held Saturday in 100 cities across the world, including Huntington. However, Chicago is the last city to be officially rescued, and Invisible Children supporters rallied to the city to help.

No evidence of shooting at UIC, Chicago
Following a report of possible gunfire at UIC, police searched two buildings on campus.
While there is no evidence to back up the report of a shooting, the Student Services and Performing Arts buildings, located at Harrison and Racine, were evacuated as a precaution."I'm standing up, and a police officer comes in with an assault rifle and says, 'Everybody get out.'
