The death toll from an explosion in the central Pakistani city of Dera Ghazi Khan climbed to at least 25 on Wednesday, a senior government official said.

Ten people were killed and 11 injured when a suicide bomber exploded close to a police station in Pakistan’s Peshawar city Friday, the second terror attack here in as many days.

Intense heat and structural damage prevented firefighters from searching the blast scene, city officials said, and several hours passed before natural gas could be cut to the area.
