New Delhi, Dec 19 (IANS) Some of the Hollywood offerings that set the cash registers ringing at the box office in India were “Slumdog Millionaire”, “2012″ and “Terminator Salvation”.

The stars of Avatar made a fine showing in the flesh on Wednesday evening in Hollywood , hitting the blue carpet in support of James Cameron's hotly anticipated sci-fi effort, which opens this Friday.

Hollywood actress Penelope Cruz is reportedly planning to walk down the aisle with boyfriend Javier Bardem in December.The Spanish actress is said to be looking for a wedding dress.

After a quiet stretch at the North American box office, Hollywood discovered once again that audiences want to see the world and a cast of B-list actors ripped into pieces in a blitz of computer-generated effects.
