The Central Board of Trustees of the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has deferred taking a decision on the proposed investment of a part of the employee provident fund (EPF) in equity markets and increase in the salary limit for mandatory contribution to EPF from the current Rs 6,500 to higher levels.
