Stronger-than-expected Mac desktop sales could be behind Apple 's two-week delay in shipping 27-inch iMacs. Sales at U.S. retailers in October and November were up 74% from the same period a year ago, Stephen Baker, analyst for market researcher NPD Group, told Information Week.

Volkswagen Group, European auto giant, on Thursday said it has recorded a jump of 38.18 per cent in cumulative sales in India during October at 2,023 units.
